Behind the dam wall is Lake Heritage. This lake was created when the dam was built on the Crocodile River; it is used for recreational activities such as swimming and paddling.

During your chosen adventure, you will catch sight of the Crocodile River, Franz Richter Dam and Lake Heritage. You will see zebras, giraffes and the springbok: South Africa’s National Animal.
